While Alper Aydın exhibits the thirty-five drawings he has produced in seven years that qualify as the initial representations of his works, the viewers witness how a “design” in the process of contemplation is developed and implemented. The fact that the artist chooses this method in today’s world, where any kind of idea can easily and rapidly become a design with the help of digital drawing and application tools, proves that the conceptual infrastructure of his works is consolidated with the ties established with the past.
